The SCO is a hydbrid skimmer-separator designed to separate and capture free oils from the water surface in oily water environments. The SCO 1000 separates up to 1000 L/hr of free-oils, whereas the SCO8000 separates up to 8000 L/hr of free oils. 


The SCO is applicable in both constructed and natural environments - for use in ATEX applications such as oil refineries, hazardous waste recycling, to non-ATEX applications such as food manufacturing, municipal wastewater treatment plants, and oil spill cleanup in open-water environments.


The SCO reduces water use, power consumption, manual work, aeration and use of active carbon and chemicals. Using an average of 200W power, it has the capacity to collect and separate up to 8,000 L/hr of oils and discharge up to 50,000 L/hr of treated water. Separated oils are recovered at <5% water content.
