VSS Vertical Spiral Screen is used for solid-liquid separation and to compact the screenings after filtration.
Flow is screened by a basket, which is kept clean by a vertical screw that transports screenings directly up and out of the basket.

VSS spiral screens with integral compactor are used for solid-liquid separation and
combine two operations: filtration and compacting. They feature a screen basket, perforated sheet
or wedge wire, that acts as a filter, followed by a vertical shaftless spiral that conveys screenings out of the basket.
