Easy and safe operationThe YT-800 is remote controlled using a handheld radio control and can easily be operated by only one person. It can be equipped with underwater cameras to enable the operator to run the machine from a distance, for example from inside an operating room in bad weather. The YT-800 is equipped with a powerful pump for pumping the sediment to a designated point of discharge. The sediment can be pumped directly to a sand and sludge treatment station if available at the site. The YT-800 has electrical motors only and there are no hazardous oils or chemicals that may damage the filter. |
Cleaning of Sand Filters - onlineOne application for the YT-800 is cleaning sand filters (slow filters). Traditional cleaning using skid-steered loaders is labour intensive and the filter has to be put out of production and completely drained. Using the YT-800 the sand filter is cleaned without draining the filter. The filter can remain in production while the YT-800 removes the algae and sediment from the filter bottom. |
