MEVA SPIRAL PRESS

For dewatering of material in sewage treatment plants, food industries, paper mills etc. the Meva Spiral Press provides a simple yet effective solution. The press is mounted on the end of a spiral conveyor which means that the complete unit requires a minimum of space. By adjusting the dewatering pressure regulator on the end, the tension on the press plate can regulated, thereby controlling the dryness of the discharged material. Generally, the dry substance content obtainable will fluctuate between 30% to 50% depending on the material.

Wedge-wire screening is used in the press tube and is normally 1.0 mm, but other sizes are available on request. The unique cleaning system insures that the screen remains clean and unclogged at all times.

The size and length of the unit is dimensioned according to the capacity needs and the type of material to be dewatered. The spiral press is available in 5 standard sizes, but can naturally be altered to meet almost any requirement. An optional number of inlets can be provided and with a Longopac® unit mounted on the outlet, the dewatered material can be easily bagged.
