RESERVOIR INSPECTION AND CLEANING SERVICES

Reservoir Inspection and Cleaning Services were created to cater for the rising demand for safer inspection and cleaning methodologies for municipal reservoirs.

The need to use tethered divers in what amounts to confined spaces, obviously constitutes appreciable risk, with all the attendant OH&S concerns attached to this activity.

VoR overcomes this problem by utilizing Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) for both cleaning and inspections of reservoirs.

Operators can manipulate the ROV’s from outside of the tank, relying on high gain colour video cameras to navigate and work.

Complete video records can easily be provided as the camera’s can be connected to video recorders as well as the operator's control screens.

Cleaning activities are not limited by bottom time or other dive constraints. Inspections can be made in places where divers can’t reach such as the inside of feed or outlet pipes.

If divers MUST enter the reservoirs for repairs, the dives can be planned using prior ROV inspections to both identify risks and to keep bottom time to a minimum.

Our services require the minimum mobilization time can be performed quickly, without undue fuss and most of all safely. Combining this with the ability to provide video records of the work means that VoR Reservoir Inspection and Cleaning Services are a very viable alternative to conventional divers.
